Goodlife Proteins Presents the Team of the Year — the ultimate season-long achievement in the Nebraska Walleye Series. This prestigious award recognizes consistency, dedication, and high-level performance across the entire competitive season. Presented by Goodlife Proteins, the Team of the Year title goes beyond a single tournament win and honors the teams who commit, compete, and excel from the first event to the final weigh-in.

The Team of the Year race is built on cumulative points earned throughout all qualifying events, rewarding anglers who demonstrate adaptability, preparation, and perseverance on Nebraska waters. As the season unfolds, teams climb the standings with every event, all leading toward the crowning of the top overall teams at season’s end.

Top-finishing teams will be rewarded with both cash prizes and one of the most unique payouts in competitive fishing. First, second, and third place overall teams will each receive a full beef with processing included, generously provided by Goodlife Proteins/Certified Piedmontese, in addition to cash awards.

To ensure the Team of the Year race rewards both commitment and consistency, anglers will count their best four finishes out of five qualifying tournaments, with the Nebraska State Tournament counting toward the standings. This format allows teams to overcome an off day or challenging conditions while still emphasizing season-long performance. Success in the Team of the Year chase is earned through preparation, adaptability, and showing up when it matters most — not just once, but across the entire season.
